Little Bohemia Neighborhood Association Meeting Minutes
The LBNA meets the first Thursday of each month to discuss issues and events that impact our neighborhood. The meetings are held from 7 to 8:00 p.m., and are held at rotating homes and businesses in the area. Meetings open to the public and are conducted in a constructive, positive and supportive manner! Plus, it is a great way to meet new friends and get to know our neighbors.
The following minutes summarize our discussion and activities.

Safety Update
- 7 New officers finished training.
- 16 scheduled to start the lateral training academy. This is for those interested in working in the force in Saint Paul.
- Fraud, Forgery, and Assaults are all down.
- Cops have been driving around and engaging kids they see in the neighborhood.
- Empathized that if you see something, say something. We are never a bother.
- Package theft falls under mail theft, and thieves can be charged with a felony.
- Please take some time to get to know your neighbors. We can all help each other out!
- Safe Summer Nights is coming up. Spread the word!
- Special note to tell contractors working on our homes to lock vehicles.
- Our neighborhood has been pretty safe with little to no incidents reported recently.
- Collin and Nicki have graciously volunteered to pick up free plants from the city on May 18. Volunteers needed to help place in the park.
- Thoughts on creating a separate garden for the children in the neighborhood to take care of through the summer and fall? Yay more youth engagement!
- I will try to see if the city can mow before planting.
- We are in talks with Saint Paul Parks and Rec. about future hydrant funding and supplying dog waste stations along the trail.
LBNA Funds
- Meeting with new Community Reporter contact is scheduled for Friday, May 10.
